How much does it cost to build your own home?

At this point, our New Build service is the perfect option for you. It usually takes approximately eight months to go from the planning stages to moving in to your new home, but this will depend on the nature of your specific project. The complexity of your build may have an impact on the time it takes to complete, and we will be happy to discuss the options with you.

How does the New Build service work?
The process of the New Build service begins with your architect’s plans, which will inform our building team and enable us to create your dream home. As you have already got your planning permissions in place, we will make a site visit and discuss your vision for your new home, considering the energy-efficient technologies that will be used in your build and once you have moved in. We will take the time to understand exactly what you are hoping for, and we will begin to construct your new home offsite, where we will make, and quality check the panels for your home. Our timber frame construction process relies on building an airtight building envelope with highly efficient windows and doors that minimise heat loss, and once we arrive on site, we will usually bring your build to a sealed and watertight condition within 10-12 days. From here, we can take care of all of the steps required to create the home you have imagined, and you can choose the level of finish you require.

Does the New Build service mean I can move straight in?
Within our New Build service, we offer you options so that you can choose the package that suits your preferences and your budget. You can opt for the Builder’s Finish, which means that we complete the build and leave you to take care of the finishing touches, or the Turnkey Finish, in which we take care of details such as stairs, kitchens, tiling and carpentry. The turnkey option enables you to simply move into your new home, and this may be for you if you do not want to coordinate tradespeople or take on the challenge of project managing at the end of your build.
